Obituary of Yolanda Cotela

Yolanda Rummo Cotela, age 72, of Bridgeport, the director for Bayview Rest for the last 15 years, died on Monday, November 14, 2005 at her residence. Born in Norwich, CT on January 4, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Anna Accetturo Rummo.

Survivors include a son, Michael Cotela and his wife, Yoli of Orange, a daughter, Jody Cotela OLeary and her husband, Patrick of Shelton, a sister, Filomena (Faye) Rummo of Stratford, four grandchildren, Kristyn, Michael, Jr., Amanda and Brian, one great grandchildren, Olyvia and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two sisters, her twin, M. Maria Fiorini and Josephine Galati Savastano. 

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
