Obituary of Pasquale D'Amore

Bridgeport Resident DAmore - Pasquale DAmore, age 87 1/2, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Mary C. DAmore, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Born in Introdacqua, LAquila, Italy, he was a son of the late Enrico and Teresa DAmore. In addition to his parents, Pasquale was predeceased by his beloved son, Enrico (Rick) DAmore. Survivors include his wife Mary, his children, Patricia DAmore of Monroe and Robert DAmore and his wife Pamela of Glastonbury, seven grandchildren, Katie DAmore, Lania Kelly and her husband David, Todd Toaso and his wife Nevena, Andrea DAmore, Dianna DAmore, Kevin Toaso and Alyssa DAmore. He also leaves to cherish his memory, a goddaughter Rosanna Sutay and his dear friend Emanuele DiPietro. Pasquale retired form Bullard Machine Company as a supervisor. In his younger days when he first came to America from Italy he was a professional boxer. Pasquale was a Third Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, He was devoted to his family. Pasquale loved baseball, gardening, bowling, opera and his wifes cooking. He will be fondly remembered for being a very special person. Funeral Information Private family funeral services were conducted and entombment was in St. Michael Cemetery Mausoleum, Stratford.
