Obituary of Anthony J. Dellamarggio

Anthony J. Dellamarggio, age 44, of Stratford and formerly of Bridgeport, beloved son of Domenica (Mamie) Fabrizi Dellamarggio of Stratford and the late James Dellamarggio, died on Saturday, June 25, 2011. He was born in Bridgeport on September 17, 1966 and attended Central High School. Anthony was a loving father, caring son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed. In addition to his devoted mother, Mamie, survivors include a loved and cherished daughter, Gianna Dellamarggio of Bridgeport and her sister Paige Carroll who he cared for deeply, two sisters, Lucille Dellamarggio of Stratford and Donna Dellamarggio of Shelton, a brother, Mark Dellamarggio of Stratford, cherished nephews and nieces, Mario, Salvatore, Christopher, Juliana, Enrique, Alexandria and Victoria. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for the benefit of his daughter Gianna.
