Obituary of Frances Dellapina

Shelton Resident Frances Tropea Dellapina, age 99, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Attilio Dellapina, passed away peacefully on Friday March 25, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on April 2, 1911 in Catania, Sicily, she was a longtime resident of New York before moving to Shelton. Survivors include her son Robert A. Dellapina and his wife Margaret; two grandchildren, Carolyn Dellapina Schumacher, Gregory Dellapina; three great grandchildren, Alex, Joelle and Derek Schumacher; a beloved niece, Linda Pearson who was like a daughter, all of Shelton, a brother, Gaetano Tropea of Westbury, NY; a sister, Carmella Pearson of Astoria, NY and her special caretaker, Ruzanna Petrosyan as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to attend an interment service on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
