Obituary of Kristin Nicole Appelberg

Kristin Nicole Appelberg, age 15, cherished daughter of Mark and Jacqueline Anthony Appelberg, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2009 at Yale New Haven Childrens Hospital. Currently a freshman at Trumbull High School, she loved to be with children and someday aspired to be a Special Education Teacher. She truly enjoyed spending time listening to music and dancing. Kristin was a cherished daughter and sister who will be deeply missed. She was pre-deceased by her paternal grandmother Jean Elizabeth Appelberg. In addition to her parents Mark and Jackie, she is survived by her loving sister and brother, Jamie and Stone, maternal grandparents, Angelo and Camille Cervone of Monroe, paternal grandfather Gustav T. Appelberg of Fairfield, aunts and uncles, Susan and Louis Geraldino, Linda and Ed Allen, Kelly and Robert Lazar and John Anthony. She is also survived by cousins, Steve and Alice Baye, Dave and Susan Baye, Clint and Sherry Baye, Rob Baye, Ricky Anthony, Dana Anthony, Robert Anthony, Christine Anthony, Bobby Lazar, Brianne Baye and Dean Baye, as well as several additional great aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:30 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
