Obituary of Lena DeLucia

Resident of Bridgeport Lena DiNatale DeLucia, age 90, of Bridgeport, a homemaker, died on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Ludlowe Health Center. Born in Sicily, Italy on March 28, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Raphael and Concetta Guccione DiNatale. A Bridgeport resident since the age of two, she enjoyed card playing with her sisters and grandchildren. Her door was always open to anyone who wanted a cup of coffee. She was a kind, loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ralph P. DeLucia, two brothers, John DiNatale and Michael DiNatale, two sisters, Louise Lodice and Helen Vecchiarelli, a grandson, John Paul Matyjasik and a son-in-law, Chester Matyjasik. Survivors include four children, Anthony DeLucia and his wife, Jacqueline of Bridgeport, Grace Pastorok and her husband, George of Trumbull, Robert DeLucia and his wife, Theresa of Trumbull and June Matyjasik of Shelton, two sisters, Josephine DalBenzo of Bridgeport and Rose Vendetti of Shelton, eight grandchildren, Dean, Anthony, Jr. and Barry DeLucia, George, Garry and Gregory Pastorok, Christine Allan and Dawn DeLucia as well as 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
