Obituary of Gloria Winters DiCicco

Longtime Stratford Resident Gloria Winters DiCicco, of Shelton, wife of the late Erik J. DiCicco, died on Friday June 6, 2008 in Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport she was the daughter of the late Benjamin George Winters and Dorothy Ruth Paine Winters. She was a long time Stratford resident before recently moving to Shelton one year ago. Gloria was a loving and giving mom and nauni to her family. She could always find the good in everyone. She loved to garden and oil paint. In addition to her husband Erik, with whom she shared 40 wonderful years with, Gloria was predeceased by her two sons Glen and Alan all who have opened up their arms to welcome her on her new journey. She leaves to cherish her memory, two loving children, a daughter, Gloria Bordonaro and her husband Michael of Shelton, a son, Eric DiCicco and his wife Marilyn of Stratford, her greatest joy, her grandchildren, Jaimee Sekelsky and her husband Danny of Beacon Falls, Jessica, Ricky, Briana and Carissa DiCicco all of Stratford, a great grandson, Dylan Sekelsky, brothers, Richard Sanderson of Florida and Jack Choquette and his wife Sharon of Oxford and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday June 10, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m. Donations Information None specified
