Obituary of Jean M. Grillo

Resident of Trumbull Jean Hansen Grillo, age 85, of Trumbull, died on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at her home. Born in Mount Vernon, NY on August 19, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Marinus and Harriet Hubbard Hansen. She was also pre-deceased by sixteen brothers and sisters and her infant son, Arthur Allen. As a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Jean especially loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading, knitting and watching television. She was a survivor and supporter of Breast Cancer Research. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers; Sister Alphonsa, Lucille, Elizabeth, Nora, Shirley and Sonia. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Francis A. Grillo; two daughters, Harriet Troesser of Trumbull and Francine Heredia and her husband Angel of Bridgeport; a devoted son-in-law, Karl Troesser of Trumbull; three grandchildren, Karla Troesser, Jonathan Troesser and Samantha Heredia; a great granddaughter, Leonella Heredia, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
