Obituary of Evelyn F. Sandor

Evelyn F. Gagner Sandor, age 87, of Trumbull, CT passed away on September 9, 2014 at the Infinity Hospice Care in Las Vegas. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late John J. Sandor. Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 20, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence "Cudo" and Elizabeth Bodo Gagner. Survivors include her children, John Sandor (Ella Selmquist Sandor) of North Haven, CT; Betty Ann Sandor of Henderson, NV; Evelyn Sandor of SW Florida and Susan Sandor Knecht (Stephen Knecht) of Wallingford, CT. She adored, with great pride and joy, her four grandchildren: Kirsten, Michelle and Thomas Knecht; and Shawn Sandor. Family and friends may call at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home on Thursday, September 18, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass at Christ the King Church, Madison Avenue, Trumbull, for a Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
