Obituary of Helen Gulyas
Helen Stardomski Gulyas, age 89, of Trumbull, a retired employee of Schick Corp. died peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Southport on September 29, 1919, she was a daughter of the late George and Marianna Koslowski Stardomski. She enjoyed gardening, walking, decorating her home and cooking for her family. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Stephen Gulyas and two brothers, Joseph and John Stardomski. Survivors include her daughter Joan Lynders and her husband Joseph of Ansonia, a sister Mary Russell of Wallingford, two grandchildren, David J. Lynders and his wife Michelle of Brooklyn, NY and Christine J. Lynders of San Diego, CA, two great grandchildren Kenzie and Scott Lynders as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of Connecticut Hospice and St. Vincents Medical Center for their care and compassion. Funeral Information
Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Donations Information
