Big Daddy Wowk! What a tremendous individual you were to us here. Your personality made everyone positive around you. You will be deeply missed. You're up there enjoying yourself and now your new journey begins. They safe life truly begins at that point and I truly believe it. We will miss you but we will meet you again. David, I will always remember how you helped me through my ongoing battle with cancer. Even when I was sick and my hair had all fallen out, you still treated me like a real person, not as a sick person. You always tried hard to help me not feel like an outsider when I would drive down to Trumbull to see you and your friends. I'll never forget last year, when you drove an hour to see me just so I wouldn't have to spend my birthday alone. And also how you drove all the way to Yale hospital to see me when I found out that my cancer had spread. If I'm lucky enough live to be 100, I'll never have a better friend than you.

I went to college with Dave at Mount Ida and he was such a great guy and was an amazing friend to many. His room was a go to room for people to talk and hangout. Mike, Lisa, Christopher and Lara First of all, I want you to know that Karen and I are deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. Although we only got to know you during Dave's surgery at Mt. Sinai in January, I feel like I have known you a lot longer. I want to thank you for your support while Karen was hospitalized. Being alone a long distance from home, having folks like you to talk to who were going through a similar thing meant a lot. Best to you and my God comfort you at this time of grief.
