Obituary of Robert D. Palmieri

Robert D. Palmieri, age 58, a lifelong Bridgeport resident, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Born on December 9, 1956 in Bridgeport, he was a son of Nancy Telesco Palmieri of Bridgeport and the late Michael Palmieri. In addition to his mother, Nancy, survivors include his brother, Michael Palmieri and his wife Theresa of Stratford; sisters, Diane Martell of New Milford, and Charlene Calandro and her husband Dan of Sandy Hook; his godchild Jodi and nieces and nephews, Michael, Alan, Andrew, Jenna and Jamie and many great nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and friends from Bridgeport Manor who made Robert's stay so very comfortable. Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Augustine's Cathedral, 399 Washington Ave, Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., in the funeral home.
