Obituary of Patricia A. Tranner

Patricia A. Eason Tranner, beloved wife of the late Frank Tranner and longtime resident of Trumbull, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Born in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late George and Matilda Giczey Eason. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Patricia will be truly missed by all who knew her. Patricia is survived by her children, Todd Tranner and his wife Julia of Woodland Hills, CA, Christopher Tranner and his wife Patricia of Shelton, Melissa Greene and her husband Michael of Milford, and Susan Tranner of Fairfield, her four cherished grandchildren Dashiell, Isabelle, and Hayley Tranner and Erin Greene. She is also survived by her loving caregiver Dorcas Mari. Pat had been an active member of Trumbull's Welcome Wagon bridge players group for many years. She loved to read books and frequented many libraries in Nichols, Trumbull, and Monroe. Pat enjoyed her time caring for her many Labrador Retrievers. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
