Obituary of Rohan "Jim" Jacob

Rohan "Jim" Jacob, age 56, beloved husband of Denise M. Roman Jacob, of Trumbull, passed away on Saturday, January 9th, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Trivandrum, India on June 1, 1959, he was a son of Chako and Achamma Cherian Jacob of India. Rohan was a finance manager and worked with corporate strategy with Sikorsky Aircraft for many years until his illness. Rohan was an avid soccer fanatic, enjoyed all of nature's beauty and all the simple things in life. A worldly philosopher, a scholar of various masters degrees and gifted in all of the best possible ways. Rohan was a loving and dedicated husband and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Bridgeport Hospital for all the care and compassion they provided. In addition to his loving wife Denise of over 25 years, survivors include his two cherished daughters, Becca Jacob and Beena Jacob, his beloved dog Moshe, a brother, Abraham Jacob of India, and a sister, Elsa Nissan and her husband Petter of Australia. He was predeceased by a brother, Cherry Jacob. Friends can greet the family on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A prayer service will take place on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
