Obituary of Teresa Pires Paulo

Teresa Pires Paulo, age 85, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Carmin Paulo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Northbridge Health Care. Born on January 20, 1931 in Vilar, Boticas, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Maria Luisa Pires. Teresa was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always put the needs of her family before her own. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her loving children, Antonio Sanches and his wife Custodia, Carmin Paulo and his wife Sandra all of Bridgeport and Fernanda Fernandes and her husband Antonio of New York and Augusta and her husband Rui of Brazil. She also leaves to cherish her memory, eight cherished grandchildren, four adored great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday March 15, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place in Vilar, Boticas, Portugal. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
