Obituary of Silvest A. Barbierri

Silvest A. Barbierri, age 96, of Trumbull, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Southbridge, MA on August 13, 1910, he was a son of the late Eustachio and Antoinette Santilli Barbierri. He graduated from Bentley College with a degree in Accounting and was an accountant and sales manager for Marsillio's Television and Appliance, retiring with over 50 years of service. He was also a very active Bridgeport Civitan.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Eva Farrows Barbierri.

Survivors include a son, Richard Barbierri and his wife, Bernice of Stratford, two daughters, Linda Morris and her husband, William of Clifton Park, NY and Laura Roscoe and her husband, Wesley of Garner, NC, three sisters, Elizabeth Kurkey and Mary Magarrell, both of Arvada, CO and Yolanda Desaulniers of Westminster, CO, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and a nephew.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2006 from 1-3 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Committal will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Southbridge, MA.
