Obituary of Patricia A. Leone

Patricia Tillson Niestemski Leone, age 84, beloved wife of the late Benedetto Leone, of Stratford passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, CT on June 7, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Tillson and Agnes Kalalian Tillson. Patricia worked as a time keeper for Avco Lycoming and then at St. Vincent's Medical Center before her retirement. She enjoyed time spent with her family and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her two children, Glenn Niestemski of Shelton, CT and his partner Suzanne Grella of Deep River, CT and Cheryl Niestemski and her partner Bruce Haning, her two grandchildren, Joseph and Shaun Niestemski and four great grandchildren, Rachel, Briana, Felicity and Alisia, all of San Antonio, TX, two sisters, Joan Lynn of Colchester, CT and Kathleen Tillson-Tripp and her husband John of Cleveland, OH as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, William Tillson. Friends are invited to meet directly at Nichols United Methodist Church, 35 Shelton Rd., Trumbull on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. for a funeral service. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford, CT. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
