Obituary of Robert A. Wallace

Robert A. Wallace, age 83, of La Quinta, California and formerly of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Jean Mastroianni Wallace, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in California. Born in Boston, MA on May 11, 1934, he was a son of the late Steven and Catherine Fitzpatrick Wallace. A U.S. Army veteran, Robert was employed for many years in the Pharmaceutical industry before his retirement. He was an avid fan of all Boston sports teams. He also enjoyed skiing and golf.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be truly missed by all.

Survivors include four loving sons, Robert J. Wallace, Sr. and his wife Gail of Trumbull, Peter Wallace and his wife Nanette of Beacon, NY, Matthew Wallace of Palm Springs, CA and Michael Wallace of New York City and four cherished grandchildren, Robert, Jr., Lauren, Michael and Jessica. He was predeceased by a grandson, Daniel Wallace and his brother, Joseph "Buddy" Wallace.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
