Obituary of Donald Philip Hutchinson

Donald Philip Hutchinson, age 30, of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 8, 1982, he graduated from Masuk High School in 2000 where he played basketball and baseball. As a captain of the basketball team he was voted 'Top Ten Player' in Fairfield County by the CT Post. He was also selected as 'Scholar Athlete of The Week' by Channel 8 News. He later attended Western CT State University. His smile lit up the room and he touched the hearts of every person he knew. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and driving around town in all his cherished cars. He was an incredible son, brother, nephew, uncle, godfather, cousin and friend. He was the beloved son of Donald Edward and Karen Prusasky Hutchinson of Monroe. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two sisters, Brooke Hutchinson and Brittany Hutchinson, his niece Emily Cornut and dear friend Chad Cornut, his maternal grandparents, Philip and Rita Prusasky of Trumbull, his paternal grandparents, Donald and Dorothy Hutchinson of Durham, NC, formerly from Trumbull, along with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Information Friends may call on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe, CT.
