Obituary of Jennie M. Buhan

Jennie Girardi Buhan, age 89, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Albert Buhan, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017. Born in Bridgeport on November 18, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Maria Paoletto Girardi. An active parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Jennie was a retired office manager for Acme Shear. Along with her husband, they enjoyed life to the fullest. They would often go out dancing and created memories that would last forever. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and baking for her family and friends. She was a joy to be with and was loving and caring to everyone. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her Goddaughter, Sandra Masso and her husband Frank and niece, Patricia Biondi, all of Shelton, a cousin Grace Brunetto of Texas; whom she cherished very much. The family would like to thank the staff of VISTA, especially Beverly Amosah and the entire staff of Carlton Convalescent Hospital for the care they provided. They would also like to thank the companion caregivers, who assisted Jennie these past years, Connie Odice, Flo Evanko, Jennie DosSantos, Jean Cocca, Katie Hamlin and Christine DeSanctis. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Road, Trumbull on Thursday, August17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
