Obituary of Charles S. Napoli
Charles S. Napoli, age 95, beloved husband of Rose Helen Pietrantonio Napoli of Southbury, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 29, 1922 in Bridgeport, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mary LaChioma Napoli, and was a longtime resident of Trumbull before moving to Southbury 17 years ago. Before his retirement he was a mason foreman with the former E & F Construction for many years. Charles was an avid golfer and sports fan and enjoyed watching the New York Yankees. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be truly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife Rose of 72 years, survivors include three loving children, Richard Napoli of Cheshire, Gary Napoli and his wife Karen of Southbury and Debra Danker and her husband Chip of Branford, eight grandchildren, Kerry Scarice and her husband Tom, Richard, Beth, Jeffrey and Brett Napoli, Benjamin, Lucas and Aliza Danker and three cherished great grandchildren, Ella, Owen and Gavin as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony Napoli, Jr. and John Napoli and a grandson, Timothy Napoli.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 18, at 11:00 a.m. directly in Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main Street, Southbury. Friends are invited to greet the family Monday morning directly in Sacred Heart Church from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
