Obituary of Frances L. Caschetto

Frances L. Tickey Caschetto, age 92, of Naugatuck and formerly of Bridgeport and Ansonia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony A. Caschetto. Born in Bridgeport on February 2, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John and Lillian Faye Tickey.

Mrs. Caschetto had been employed by Sikorsky Aircraft, where she worked as an assembler before her retirement with many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed reading and loved to watch classic television, however her greatest pleasure was found in the time she spent with her grandchildren, whom she adored so very much.

She is survived by her two loving sons, David Caschetto and his wife Beth of Webster, NY and Peter Caschetto and his wife Fran of Naugatuck, her three cherished grandchildren, Kasey, Matthew and Danielle, her sister, Katherine LaCroix of Shelton and her beloved nephew, John LaCroix, also of Shelton.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
