Obituary of Mary Czerwinski

Mary Czerwinski, age 87, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Walter J. Czerwinski, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018 into the arms of the Lord. Mary was born in Bridgeport on March 30, 1930 and early on had been employed by local insurance agencies as an adjuster before beginning her family. She took great pleasure in the time she spent with her family, especially her grandsons. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her two loving children, Karen Pun and her husband Manuel and Christopher Czerwinski and his wife Theresa, three cherished grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Pun and Evan Czerwinski, a sister, Theresa Lozowski, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Frances Brunt. A Mass of Christian of Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 19, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Rd., Shelton. A private family burial will follow Mass. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
