Obituary of Lawrence D. Morelli

Lawrence Daniel Morelli, age 62, of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at his home. Born in Bridgeport on August 14, 1955, he was a son of the late Joseph B., Sr., and Josephine E. DeLuca Morelli. A rare breed indeed, Lorenzo was a dedicated father, unfailing sibling, and born a passionate entertainer and musician. His charismatic energy lit up a room without a doubt. There's not one person who Larry didn't leave a lasting imprint on. His love for music was as deep as his love for his family. He not only performed naturally on stage, but his devotion to his loved ones was unfaltering. His vibrant and eccentric personality is truly one that is irreplaceable. No void can ever be filled and we love you always and forget you never. He was predeceased by his loving son Lawrence Vincent Morelli. Survivors include his cherished daughter, Natasha Morelli and her partner Montira, of Austin, TX and her mother Lisa Lage Morelli of Trumbull, two brothers, Joseph Morelli and his wife Judith of Stratford and Louis Morelli and his wife Julie of Trumbull, a sister, Donna Morelli Archer of Bridgeport, three nephews and a niece, Joseph and Matthew Morelli, and Jasen and Dana Archer, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends can greet the family at a memorial gathering celebrating Larry's life on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
