Lynn Marie (Bimmler) Baker posted a condolence

Dear James, Patrick and Gregg, your wives, and children and all the family.
I was very sad to hear my Great Aunt Dolores had passed. So sorry I did not get a chance to visit her when she was ill. Gladly I attended the wake but the time was too short to reconnect with everyone there, however I saw some of the family. Sadly I could not attend the funeral as I had to travel to VT the next day.
It was wonderful to see some of the photos of her life and our family. Loved the wedding album! I can see that there was so much love in the community for your mother as the line was long to reach the front. Even a whole team of young men were there. Aunt Dolores looked very peaceful in her beautiful gown,
Aunt Dolores and I had/have a mutual love for animals and nature and I always loved her smile and laugh! I miss those days when we saw every one. I did not know she was a docent at the zoo! Beardsley Zoo was always a favorite place to visit as a child with Grandpa Paul and I still visit and support them today. James, I also yearned to be a veterinarian, but sadly did not continue on that track of education. However I have always had at least one pet in the house if not several (once I had raised 27 ducks on our pond, had horses, rabbits and guinea pigs!) and also have nurtured and saved many wild creatures. I guess this love of animals runs in our family!
Wonderful Aunt Dolores also often came to the town of Bethlehem I live in and went with my mother, her niece Laurie Ann (Chormanski) Bimmler, to our Abbey of Regina Laudis for the summer plays. If you ever wish to visit, just let me know as the Abbey is only about 2 miles from my house if even that, easily a country saunter. My home number 203-525-8120 or cell 203-525-8120. The door is always open for family if I am home!
I truly wish there were more annual whole extended family events to keep connected. I will use some of this information in the obituary for our own genealogy research of which my brother Emil and I have been doing.
Know we are thinking of you all during this time of sadness and I will miss her greatly as wel!
Love,
Lynn, Bill Baker and my children:
Kendra Baker
Jessie (Coe) Fulton and her husband Harry Fulton

In memory of the beautiful human you were.
We love you and we miss you terribly
We like to think of you at rest and at peace, finally surrounded by the loving presence of those who predeceased you.
We especially enjoy imagining you sitting on a throw at the symphony, enjoying the music and picnicking on fresh figs from the tree in your yard. We treasure so many memories shared of times spent together.
Rest in Peace. Hear the music. Feel the rain. Love surrounds you.

Our beloved Mrs M
To a memorable afternoon at Seaside Park Beach with you, Ty and I, splashing around in the warm water, under the sun, and singing the catchy alphabet song you used to sing to Ty when you came over to play with him at home ..... Ty and I watch the video of the three of us often, which eases the ache of missing you (for just a few minutes)

I send my condolences to the Micinilio and Samsel family in the loss of this amazing woman I called Aunt Dolores. I only saw her occasionally, usually at Grandpa Samsel’s birthday. I didn’t know how fascinating and inspiring her travels and accomplishments and motherhood was. Grandpa Samsel’s other sisters that I knew - Aunt Vicky, Aunt Clara, and Sister Reynald - also shared Aunt Dolores’ Tender Loving Care towards family. They have helped me grow into a kinder adult and I aspire to be as compassionate as they were.
