Obituary of Frank Mastrorocco

Frank Mastrorocco, age 96, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center, Shelton. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna Saracino Mastrorocco. Born in Bridgeport on February 18, 1922, he was a son of the late Croce and Domenica Oddi Mastrorocco. A proud U.S. Marine Corps. Veteran, he had served honorably during World War II. Frank was later employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a mailman before his retirement with many years of dedicated service. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his children, Michael Mastrorocco and his wife Yuvonne of Mineral Wells, WV and Georgette McFarland and her husband Michael of Derby, his grandchildren, Christopher and Sarah Mastrorocco, Kristen DeLorenzo and her husband Christopher and Matthew McFarland, two great grandchildren, Jacob and Gia, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife, Anna, he was also predeceased by his brothers, Tony, Ronnie, Peter and George Mastrorocco and his sisters, Connie Galaty and Jean and Angie Mastrorocco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport. Interment with military honors will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Friends may greet the family on Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
