Obituary of Louis M. Pedreira

Louis M. Pedreira, age 60 of Stratford, beloved husband of Sonia Zangrilli Pedreira, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 1, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Born on December 26, 1958 in Montalegre, Portugal, he was the son of the late Arthur G. Pedreira and Adozinda Teixeira Pedreira. Louis worked in the construction industry for over 35 years. He was the owner of Pedreira Advertising and enjoyed working with his many clients. He enjoyed traveling, soccer, watching movies and putting a smile on anyone's face with his giving ways. But most of all he treasured time with his family, the memories they created, values he instilled and the unconditional love he gave will forever be in their hearts. Louis will truly be missed by all.

In addition to his treasured lovey Sonia of 36 years, survivors include his loving children, Louis C. Pedreira and Brandon M. Pedreira, both of Stratford, Sandra Young and two grandchildren of Florida, mother-in-law Teresa Zangrilli, as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his father-in-law Giovanni Zangrilli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 2110 Main St., Stratford. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
