Obituary of Russell H. Fawver

Stratford Resident FAWVER- Russell Harlan Fawver, age 42, of Stratford, died suddenly after a short battle with cancer on Monday, October 27, 2008 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on March 17, 1966, he was a son of Carmella Matarazzo Fawver of Palm Bay, FL and Harlan Fawver and his wife Carol of Woodsville, NH. He was the co-owner and operator of J & R Automotive in Stratford. Russell was a loving father, husband and friend to all. He was an avid motorcycle and hot rod enthusiast and lived life to the fullest. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his devoted wife of 18 years, Heidi Zima Fawver, two children Russell Jr. and Amanda, two brothers, Mark Fawver and his wife Gina and John Fawver and his wife Theresa, his in-laws, Bob and Lee Zima, sister-in-law, Kim Matty and her husband Dave, all of Stratford, nieces and nephews, Stephanie Nemec, Lisa Fawver, Chelsea and David Matty and John Fawver Jr. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Donations Information In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a college education fund to be established for Russell Jr. and Amanda.
