Obituary of Madeline Barry

Madeline Cingari Barry, age 58, of Shelton, died on Saturday, October 22, 2005 in Bishop Wicke Health Care after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Lucy DiLeo Cingari, and was a Shelton resident over 33 years. Mrs. Barry was raised in Trumbull and was a graduate of the National Academy of Hairdressing. She worked over 30 years as a hairdresser in Trumbull, Monroe and Fairfield and also was employed at Internal Medicine of Westport.

Survivors include her beloved husband William Barry Sr., a son, William Barry Jr. (BJ) of Charlotte, NC, brothers and sisters in law, Edward and Beverley Barry of Orange, Robert and Mary Barry of Stratford, Dennis and Debra Barry of Stratford, Margaret Moran of Bridgeport, Joan and Robert Hammill of Trumbull, Kathleen and Vincent Carbone of West Haven, Carol and Bruce Fern of Bridgeport, Patricia and Felix Dausilio of Bridgeport, and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Cingari. 

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 9:00 AM from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 AM in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 PM
