Obituary of Giuseppina Trotto

Giuseppina Trotto, age 92, of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on August 20, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Andimo and Rose (Fusco) Trotto. Josephine worked at General Electric for over 40 years before her retirement.

Giuseppina (Aunt Jo) enjoyed spending time with her family cooking and baking. Aunt Jo was a dedicated Aunt to her nieces and nephews celebrating each milestone in their life. She enjoyed listening to Italian music, playing BINGO, and visiting the casino. Jo was a devote catholic and enjoyed watching the catholic masses on TV.

Survivors include a sister, Rose Traggianese of Bridgeport and a brother, Andrew Trotto and his wife Nancy of Florida as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and their wives, Augustine Trotto (Rita) and Frank Trotto (Dineen), three sisters and their husbands, Loretta Corraro (Carl), Antoinette Galello (Angelo) and Angelina Cisero (Carmen) and a brother-in-law, Robert Traggianese.

Due to the concerns about social gatherings affecting us all at this time, a public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
