Obituary of Helen A. Kosc

Former Stratford Resident Helen Chatlos Kosc, age 87, of Stratford, died on Friday, October 24, 2008 in Shelton Lakes Health Care Center. Born in Granville, New York on March 8, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Baltazar and Helen Verespy Chatlos. She was a member of the Guild of the Mother of Jesus. Mrs. Kosc was predeceased by her beloved husband John J. Kosc, a brother, George Chatlos, and her grandson Johnny Kosc. Survivors include her two sons, John R. Kosc and his wife Annette of Stratford and Gregory Kosc and his wife Charlene of Medina, OH, a sister, Frances Kurisko of Stratford, two grandchildren, Cynthia Kosc-St. Onge and her husband Jay of Plainville and David Kosc of Rockville, MD and a great granddaughter Skylar St. Onge. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave., Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
