Obituary of Jeanne M. Scarpone

Jeanne M. (Walsh) Scarpone, age 62, of Shelton passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at her home. Born in Norwalk on May 30, 1959 she was a daughter of the late Michael O. and Mary Lou (Flaherty) Walsh. Jeanne was an avid reader and was fascinated with watching police procedural TV shows. Her greatest enjoyment however was found in the time she spent surrounded by her children and family, especially her grandson, whom she adored. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving children, Taylor M. Gomez and her husband Chike of Oakville, Ryan A. Scarpone and Austin J. Scarpone, both of Shelton, her adored grandson, Elijah Gomez, her devoted sisters, Linda Walsh of Shelton, Dianne Jewell and her husband Jeff of Norwalk, Megan Hogan and her husband Phil of Fairfield and Susan Walsh of Shelton, her brother, Tim Walsh and his wife Teresa of Westport, as well as several much loved nieces and nephews and her canine puppy companion, Bailey.

Friends may greet the family on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton. Interment will be held privately for the immediate family.
