Obituary of Cynthia A. Horan

Cynthia A. (Cipriano) Horan, age 68, of Millsboro, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was the beloved wife of the late Dennis Horan. Born in Waterbury on July 2, 1953 she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Sylvia (Crocco) Cipriano. Cynthia had worked as an office manager in various capacities and was also proud to have earned the accomplishment of having moved and lived in over 20 different locations across the country, wherever her spirit took her. She was a great cook, an avid reader, and loved the beach and Italy. Her greatest enjoyment was found in the time she spent with her girlfriends. Their group, known as "the 4 C's" enjoyed playing bingo or bunco and also sharing a glass of wine together. She was also a member of the Pot-Nets Community where she built many lasting friendships. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her loving sister, Barbara Gabriel and her husband Paul of Trumbull and her brother, David Cipriano and his wife Meribeth of Killingworth, her nieces and nephew, Gianna, Maria and Patrick Cipriano and her cousin, Edward Crocco of Northfield. She also leaves her dear friends, Carol Schumaker of Millsboro, DE and Patty Malafronte Malota of Milford. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Nichol's Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
