I miss you already . I miss our phone calls.. our long phone conversations about my mom and her siblings and your childhood and everything you wanted to share with me. I wish I could just hear your voice one more time so I can say “Goodbye” to you and let you know how much I love you. But even one more time to hear your voice would never be enough. We weren’t created for it, RoseMarie, This separation. That’s why I hurt. But I hurt with hope. Hope that God is who he says he is because if it’s true, I know you are free, free right now in the presence of God and there is no where else I know you want to be. You’re also with your first love of many years and your parents and my mother. I loved hearing your stories about your childhood with my mother and my Aunts. I loved holding your hands when I first met you. RoseMarie (Ma) you were the best adopted (Pretend) ma a girl could ever have and ask for. You were giving and loving gentle and kind. I will always love you . Every day that passes without you i will grieve , grieve with hope , hope that god is who he says he is and will do what he promises to do. I am honored to be your little “girl” I always will be (even if it was only for 7 short years) it has been my profound honor to have you in my life . Mourning and Sadness feels just as right as joy. RoseMarie, you have brought joy to my life . You made me smile And laugh and cry every time we’ve talked on the phone . May I always strive to live as beautifully as you have. See you one day soon. I’ll be looking for you always… I love you.
