Obituary of Marie A. Agnoletto
Marie DiCostanzo Agnoletto, age 90, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family and was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Gilbert J. Agnoletto. Born in the Bronx, New York on December 4, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Umberto and Mary (Mucciaccio) DiCostanzo and was a longtime resident of Yonkers, NY before moving to Shelton 26 years ago
Family was everything to Marie and was the most important part of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her two adored children, son Peter Agnoletto and his wife Angela and daughter Donna Romano and her husband Perry, her five cherished grandchildren, Nicole Romano, Matt Romano and his wife Carly, Alexander Agnoletto and wife Jenna, Samantha Agnoletto, and Rebecca Agnoletto, a brother, Sonny DiCostanzo and his wife Joyce, her former brother-in-law Orlando Padovani, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Padovani.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave, Shelton. Interment will follow in Huntington Lawn Cemetery, 268 Huntington Street, Shelton. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT 06611.
