Obituary of Naomie Domingue

Naomie Domingue, age 61, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Haiti on November 12, 1960, she was a daughter of Marie Gerard of Bridgeport and the late Vaillant Domingue.

She loved music, singing and being around friends and family. Naomie was a loving, generous and caring person. She was always there to help anyone in need, always sacrificing her own self to help others. Naomie was dedicated to her faith and belief in the Lord.

In addition to her loving mother Marie, survivors include her brothers, Jean-Guy Domingue, Valliant Domingue and Joel Domingue, two sisters, Evelyne Huydic and Marie-Chantale Josue, nephew and nieces, Kevin L. Josue, Valliant Domingue III, Twain I. Domingue, Yohann J. Domingue, Yannis D. Domingue, Caden Riodin, Medalissa Kampman, Guerline Domingue, Abigail Domingue, Rebecca Z. Domingue, Gemelle Domingue, Joelyne Domingue, Tabitha Domingue and Rose Gregoire; as well as many other relatives in the U.S. and Haiti. She was predeceased by a brother, Josue Domingue.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:00 am directly in the United Methodist Church, 515 Cutlers Farm Rd., Monroe. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday morning from 9 – 10 am directly in the church.
