Obituary of Cynthia LaFountain

Loving and Devoted Mother and Grandmother Cynthia Arlio LaFountain, age 54, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, died on Sunday, June 13, 2010 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on January 9, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Helen Motasky Arlio. She was a former employee of the State of Connecticut Superior Court and Standard Oil. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she always enjoyed time spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Survivors include a son Gary LaFountain Jr. of West Haven, a brother Joseph Arlio and his wife Mary Ann of Trumbull, a sister Joyce Arlio of Bridgeport, a nephew Gary Arlio, two grandchildren, Jenascia LaFountain and Isiah Mikan, as well as several cousins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to cousins, Rita Davis and Lucinda Timpanelli, friends and neighbors Bonnie and Judy, and caregiver Freda Stockham. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Ambrose Church, 1596 Boston Ave., Bridgeport at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2010 for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
