Obituary of Clarence Fay

Clarence E. (Sonny) Fay, age 73, of Shelton, died on Monday, June 27, 2011 at his home. Born in Mineville, NY on March 4, 1938, he was a son of the late Clarence and Lucinda DesRochers Fay. Sonny was a mechanic for Dworkin Chevrolet for over 33 years before his retirement and was also employed by Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He was a former supernumerary police officer and volunteer fireman for the Town of Ansonia.

He was pre-deceased by a son, William Fay.

Survivors include a son, Robert Fay and his wife Allise of Seymour and a daughter, Mary Ellen Panullo and her husband James of Shelton, three grandchildren, Nina and Gianna Panullo and Aedan Fay, two sisters, Barbara Pratt of Witherbee, NY and Vaida Rennie of Peru, New York, his closest friend, Lorraine Heyde of Shelton as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Private family funeral services and entombment took place at the Mount St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
