Obituary of Raymond F. Tompkins

Raymond F. Tompkins, 91, of Trumbull passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022. He was the beloved husband of over 70 years to Ann Murphy Tompkins.

Raymond was born September 7, 1931, the son of Raymond and Katherine Lynch Tompkins. He worked as a Programmer for Warnaco for 40 years until his retirement. Raymond loved golfing and bowling and especially NY Sports - the Mets, NY Football Giants and Rangers.

In addition to his wife Ann, he is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Glen Tompkins (Fern) and Gary Tompkins (Philomena); his grandchildren Lisa Blyth (Tim), Laura Bertkau (Geoff), Kim Piontek (John) and Gary Tompkins; and his five great grandchildren Madison, Michael, Tyler, Jonathan, and Madison.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 9:30 am till 11:00 am in The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.
