Obituary of M. Immacolata C.S.M.
Sister M. Immacolata, C.S.M., (Teresa Marini), age 92, of Montreal Canada, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Santa Cabrini Hospital in Montréal. Born in Torrice, Province of Frosinone, Italy on May 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Domenico Antonio Marini and Palmira (Fabrizi) Marini.
After pronouncing her vows in Castellammare, Italy, on August 18, 1956 she joined the Soeurs Compassionnistes Servites de Marie. Later, she was transferred by the diocese to Montréal, Canada, where she devoted over 66 years of her life to the ministry and the community of St. Léonard.
In addition to the congregation of the Soeurs Compassionnistes Servites de Marie, survivors include four brothers and sisters, Gino Marini and his wife Soccorsa of Trumbull, Lino Marini and his wife Mafalda of Weston, Ada Mallone of Trumbull and Lina Colastosti and her husband Rafael of France, a sister-in-law, Teresa Marini of Trumbull, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as her cousins, Fernando Fabrizi and his wife Rosanna of Trumbull and Linda Marini and the late Enrico Marini of Trumbull. She was predeceased by a sister, Vincenzina Ianni and her husband Sebastiano, a brother, Enrico Marini and a brother-in-law, Gino Mallone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 in St. Andrew Church, 395 Anton St., Bridgeport. Entombment will follow in the Pilgrimage Mausoleum at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
