Obituary of Robert Bud' Fisher
Trumbull Resident
FISHER Robert L. (Bud) Fisher, age 83, of Trumbull, died on Thursday, October 23, 2008 in St. Joseph Manor. Born in Bridgeport on February 19, 1925, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Madeline Hellman Fisher. He attended Bridgeport schools and enlisted in the Navy during World War II, serving in both the European and Pacific Theaters. Bud went to trade school after the war and became a licensed plumber, belonging to the CT Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #777 for 60 years. He was a foreman for various plumbing contractors and worked on several large projects in Fairfield County. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #10059. Bud will always be remembered for his loving, generous spirit and his sense of humor. Survivors include his beloved family, his wife of 60 years, Eugenia (Jean) Mrasco Fisher, three children, Barbara J. Fisher of Trumbull, Robert L. Fisher Jr. and his wife Wendy and their son Daniel R. Fisher, all of Newtown and William E. Fisher of Trumbull. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Jeanette Morrison. The family wishes to thank the Second Floor Staff of St. Josephs Manor where Bud has been a resident for over three years for their kind and loving care. Funeral Information
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Donations Information
