I am very saddened by this news. Bette was my American mom when I was still somewhat new in this country. We had many wonderful times together at ATDN and during conference trips to San Diego. Her infectious laugh is unforgettable and still rings in my ears. She was not one for spicy foods but was always game to give new things a try. She was a truly kind and loving person. We will miss you, Bette.
