Pat was a great mentor and treated me like Family. We had incredible conversations about business, the New York Yankees, and politics. When I started my business, Pat was my personal consultant, and all he wanted in return was for me to be successful. The conversations I cherish the most are when we talked about Faith. Pat relied on Jesus and was not ashamed to say it. My Father (Ben) and Pat were best friends. My Father once told me, in life you meet a lot of acquaintances, some become friends. I hope you can find a friend like Pat, because then you will have a friend for life. Pat I am forever grateful.

I will miss our daily chats we had as I walked a neighbor's dog by your house and you would be taking a walk up and down your driveway. You were always thoughtful to ask about my Mom and we would discuss the trials of getting older. I loved watching your face light up when Griffey would politely take treats from you. I pray you're in peace my friend. I will miss seeing you.

It was a pleasure to meet Pat Jr. and Lisa, the day I visited Pat, they were so friendly and made me feel at home. Pat sat behind me for years in Christ the King Parish. I made contact with him after a few weeks not attending church. He then told me what was going on and I felt so bad for him, he then told me he had such a good life and whatever happens, happens, no regrets. Before Mass we use to talk about he family, his son Pat, how he comes to visit all the time, and he spent the holidays with him. And his daughter Lisa & her grandchildren, how he loved going to Florida to visit them and how he enjoyed it. He never tried to miss the children's birthdays. Then before church we would talk about sports, cooking, and faith. I will miss him. He was such a great guy. So sorry for your loss Pat Jr and family & Lisa and your family. Just keep the faith & the memories. Toni Avery .
