George is missed by his golf buddies. Each spring we made an annual pilgrimage to play in a memorial event for another golfing member. There I witnessed George make a hole in one. George was a joy to be with on the course even if the game didn't go his way. The next round is in your memory George. Godspeed. Phil Sheremeta

Thank you for your heartfelt words. My brother was a very good tennis player as well, but it seems he gave it up for golf which will drive anyone crazy..I know it did me. I always wished he would give me a few tips on the golf course when I used to play..

With my deepest sympathy…the men of the Lovington Golf League will miss him greatly. He was a LOT of fun and enjoyed a good laugh and even played some good golf occasionally. Our love and thoughts go out to the family and to George.

Hi all, I have a couple of distinct memories of George. I remember him teaching me how to tie my shoelaces when my mother Kay, my sister Lisa and me visited from Ireland many years ago. In more recent times, I visited Stratford and George and myself hit a few balls at a local driving range. This was followed by a couple of beers, naturally, and a good laugh. I was very sorry to hear the news about George. My deepest condolences to you all. Mark Murray (Dublin, Ireland)
