Obituary of Theresa Gruttadauria

Theresa Gruttadauria, age 80, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Derby on July, 29, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Martha (Viselli) Gruttadauria.

Theresa was a lover of all animals but one of her favorite things to do was to feed the birds. She had a sweet personality and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed her daily coffee and her candy and goodies but her greatest joy came from all the visits with her sister and spending time with her Kennedy Center family. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her siblings, Mary Burchell and her husband Marce, Bernadette Gruttadauria, Peter Gruttadauria and his wife Lenita, Armando Gruttadauria and his wife Grace and James Gruttadauria, two nieces, April Philibert and Sarah Lewis and three nephews, Daniel, Mormon and Mark Burchell. She was predeceased by a brother, John Gruttadauria and a sister, Victoria Gruttadauria.

A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private. Friends may greet Theresa's family on Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
