Obituary of Prazeres Costa

Prazeres Goncalves Pereira Costa, age 95, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Milford Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Luis Costa. Born in Chaves, Tras dos Montes, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Antonio Goncalves Pereira and Alcina Cunha Leage Pereira and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport.

Mrs. Costa was an avid gardener, enjoyed taking long walks and being outdoors. Her greatest joy came from spending time with family and talking to friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her three loving children, Armandino Costa, Sr. and his wife Isabel, Carlos Costa and his wife Marion and Alcina Andrade and her husband Abilio, five beloved grandchildren, Sara Pagnozzi (Stephen), Diane Dos Santos, Armandino Costa, Jr. (Shana), Amy Wargo (Chris) and Jennifer Fay (Brian) and three cherished great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sebastian and Madilynn as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also survived by family in France and Portugal.
