Gail, my first cousin and I were born around the same time and we would have 4th of July picnic at her mom’s house Auntie to me. Every Saturday morning I would walk to her house on Wilmont Ave and I would be sitting on the bed while her and her sister Jeannie were supposed to be cleaning their room and we would laugh and talk. She would make the best onion
sandwiches! She would fry the onions in butter, put it on 2 pieces of bread and that would be our lunch! Her and her sisters would come over to our house and we would all play softball in the street. Sorry didn’t get a chance to see her, she was planning on coming to my 80th birthday party but she got lost and I didn’t get a chance to see her, but we did talk a few times.i will miss her and our talks.
