Obituary of Patricia Letizia Napolitano

Patricia Letizia (Damiano) Napolitano, age 80, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Napolitano for 60 wonderful years. Patricia was born in Bridgeport, CT on March 21, 1943, to the late Philip and Lena (Manzo) Damiano. She grew up on the east side of Bridgeport and resided in Trumbull for 56 years where she raised her family. Patricia was a 1959 graduate of Saint John Commercial High School, and she went on to work at Traveler's Insurance until she became a stay-at-home mom. Later in life when her children were older, she went back to work for ISMA for many years and then at William Woods Insurance until her retirement. Patricia loved to cook and entertain and she exhibited her open heartedness and generosity by hosting countless holidays and poolside BBQ's for family, friends, and neighbors. She made sure everyone felt at home, ate enough, and went home with leftovers. Her top priority, however, was always her family and she was extremely devoted to her children, grandchildren, great grandchild, and the love of her life Anthony. In addition to her husband, Anthony, Patricia is survived by her three loving children, a son Anthony Napolitano and his partner Mayra Chavez of Derby CT, a son Marc Napolitano and his wife Maureen of Breezy Point, NY, a daughter Shari Foldy of Woodbridge CT and a son-in-law Randy Foldy of Naples, Florida. She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren, Dylan Napolitano, Daniel Foldy, Sara (Foldy) Calechman and her husband Alex, Julianne Napolitano, Christopher Napolitano, and Lauren Napolitano. And for the last year her greatest joy was her adored and cherished first great grandchild, Easton Calechman. She is also survived by her sister Deborah Broccoli and her husband Ron, brother-in-law John Napolitano and his wife Barbara, sister-in-law Nancy Rentz and her husband Dave, several cherished nieces and nephews, adored cousins, and countless friends. To say that Patricia will be greatly missed is an understatement. She will be forever loved. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave, Trumbull. Interment will follow at a later date. Calling hours will take place Sunday February 25, 2024 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trumbull Emergency Medical Services, 250 Middlebrooks Ave, Trumbull who went above and beyond to assist her the past few years.
