Corey Edward Shaw

Born November 6th, 1989 crossed over June 3rd 2024. Corey was an avid car enthusiast and loved anything that had wheels or gears. He loved his cat Precious and playing video games with friends. He had a contagious one-of-a-kind laugh with accents to match. He was always ready to help a friend or family member in an instant. Corey was a mechanic at various shops over the years and knew his way around any motor. Corey was proud to serve as president of the Shawsauge Club, and he never found his glasses! Corey was also fascinated with turtles.

Corey’s memories will live on through his sister, Brittney Shaw, his niece, Arwyn Gombos, his Aunt Christine Kuehn, his Uncle Edward Shaw,Jr., many cousins, and close friend, Nkiruka Nzekwu.
 

Corey had many steadfast friends, including Samuel & Benjamin Schwartz, Mike Opitz, Ray Mendoza, and numerous on-line gamers across the country, including Stephen Capua, Brandon Lankford, and Kyle Farrington from TN.
 

Family and friends are invited to join for a burial and reception at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024 in St. John's Cemetery, 500 Moose Hill Rd., Monroe. A reception will follow.
