Obituary of Jerry Louis Licursi
Trumbull Resident
Jerry Louis Licursi, known by friends as Lou Licursi, age 69, of Trumbull. passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 25 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on September 3, 1937, he was the son of the late Martino and Maria Casciano Licursi.He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of V.F.W. Post 141. He retired as Director of Reproduction Services from Sikorsky Aircraft where he had worked for 45 years. Mr. Licursi was a member of the All World Softball team and was later inducted into the CT Softball Hall of Fame in 1986. He will be sadly missed and always remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his two loving sons, David Licursi of Trumbull, Richard Licursi and his wife Heather, of Oxford, two cherished grandchildren, Brittany and Richie, his three beloved sisters, Nickie Cerino, Elsie Listori, and Fannie Donofrio and her husband Carmine, all of Bridgeport, his two nieces, Laura Cerino of Trumbull, Deborah Meno and her husband, Gary and daughter Erica of Easton, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Barbara Ann Pelle Licursi, and his daughter Laura Marie Licursi. Funeral Information
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow with Military Honors in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Donations Information
